قال الله تعالى: { الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُم بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ سِرًّا وَعَلَانِيَةً فَلَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ } (البقرة: 274)

وعن عقبة بن عامر رضي الله عنه قال: سمعت رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم - يقول: "كل امرئ في ظل صدقته حتى يُفصل بين الناس" (رواه أحمد)
